Douglas E. Branstetter

Graphic Designer

I joined the US Navy in February of 1983 and served 4 years as an aircraft mechanic. After being honorably discharged I attended John A. Logan College in the spring of 1987 to study Computer-Aided Design and Drafting including course studies in tool design, mechanical design, architectural design, and industrial design.

After graduation in May of 1989, I was hired at Boeing Aerospace Co. as a Design Support Technician and later advanced to Sr. Logistics Engineer where I created technical illustrations and documentation for service manuals. While in St. Louis I married the love of my life Susan and had 2 wonderful boys Jason and Andrew.

I later moved to Davenport IA in December 2008 and worked as a mechanical designer and later move to a technical illustration position creating illustrations for technical manuals.

In 2015 I received a certificate of completion in Web Application Development and later went on to obtain my Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Upper Iowa University in 2020. I recently moved to Colorado Springs, CO in 2020 where I now work for a government contracting company as a 3D graphics programmer.
